Health & Safety Policies
We can draft you a Health and Safety Policy and Manual, that is specific to your business and ensures that your legal requirements are met.
"Company fined for visitor death"
Wooley GMC Engineering of Exhall was recently fined £25,000 and ordered to pay £7,500 in costs, following the death of a visiting delivery driver. This company did not have a Health and Safety Policy in place and paid the price. Legislation states that you must have a Health and Safety Policy. If your organisation employs 5 or more people, either full or part time, you are legally obliged to have a fully documented Policy and communicate this to your employees. |

“OMS have supported us since we established EDS. As a small employer, we were not in a position to recruit an in-house safety professional, nor did we have the time to keep up to date with all the new legislation. We still wanted to ensure we had the correct support and advice available when we needed it. OMS have not only opened our eyes to the areas where we were exposed, but have provided us with practical, simple solutions and ongoing support, so the health and safety of our staff is not a major issue for us any more.”
