Legislation now requires employers to implement a robust method of communicating and evaluating safety & health issues brought forward by you and your employees.

In many cases this requires the introduction of a Safety Committee, which can prove to be difficult to set up without guidance.

A Safety Committee would review safety & health inspection reports, evaluate accident investigations/accident and illness prevention programmes conducted since the previous meeting, discuss recommendations for improvements if and where/when needed.
All discussions must be documented and records of meetings have to be preserved for one year.
