OMS recently hosted a Working Well Together Open Day, on behalf of the HSE. Over 80 businesses attended the day, which involved practical demonstrations on areas such as the Safe Use of Scaffolding, Working with MEWPS and ladders and lectures on Occupational Health, PASMA and Silica – the new asbestos?

Exhibitors included: PASMA, IPAF, NEBOSH, Span Set, FSB, Nifty Lift, Turner Access, Eurotowers, Speedy, as well as a demonstration of OMS’ new work at height training facility and our fixed and mobile tower scaffolding.

Various OMS consultants and trainers were also on hand to answer any health and safety queries or issues, that the delegates had.

The Open Day was a tremendous success for all involved, and in particular highlighted the safety issues relating to Working at Height and provided a vital learning opportunity in this critical area.
