The NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management Certificate is a qualification designed for those with fire safety responsibilities in the workplace. It has become very popular since its launch in 2005 and has established itself as the most recognised fire safety qualification in the UK. The syllabus is mapped to both the National Occupational Standards for Health and Safety owned by ENTO and the Fire Safety NOS owned by SkillsPlus.

No previous health and safety or fire safety knowledge is required although it should be noted that the assessment includes a requirement to write a short report.

Obtaining the NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management Certificate will help you obtain:

• Level 3 NVQ status
• Technician Membership of IOSH (Tech IOSH)
• Associate Membership of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM).
