The NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety is now established as a leading health and safety award for the construction industry. Delegates must have passed the first 5 days of the National General Certificate (NGC1 – The Management of Health & Safety) within the last 5 years to sit this course.

The NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety is aimed at Supervisors, Managers and CDM Co-ordinators within the construction industry. The syllabus is mapped to the National Occupational Standards for Health and Safety owned by ENTO and is supported by Construction Skills.
No previous health and safety knowledge is required although it is advisable that candidates do have an understanding of the basic practical aspects of the construction industry. It should also be noted that the examination includes a requirement to write a short report. Obtaining the NEBOSH Construction Certificate will also help you to obtain:

- Technician Membership of IOSH (Tech IOSH)
- Associate Membership of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM).
