Fire Marshal/Warden Training Made Easy
Back
August 13, 2009
Traditional Fire Marshal/Warden training consists of gathering dozens of fire extinguishers before a training session, trying to light a dangerous fuel mixture with a match, “tasting” dry-chemicals all day, and complaints of dry-chemical coating cars and clothes and cleaning up after?

OMS have recently invested in the latest advancement in fire training technology, which now provides a more efficient, cleaner and versatile way of conducting important fire safety training. The main benefits of this new BullsEye system are:

  • The training environment is made safe and easy.
  • It allows for training to take place entirely indoors, in the conference rooms, hallways, in the actual work environment.
  • It has the ability to grade users, making it easy to monitor improvement and proficiency.

  • 16 staff from Darul Uloom Institute of Higher Islamic Education in Leicester, were the first OMS clients to receive the Fire marshal/warden training with the new technology.

Our laser-driven extinguisher training aide senses where the user aims and sweeps the laser training fire extinguisher and automatically varies the LED driven digital flames in response. This allows the trainees to learn how to effectively use a fire extinguisher to provide a dynamic and realistic simulation while eliminating the hazards associated with conventional fire extinguisher training.

We can now simulate class A, B and C fires at four difficulty levels and we have the capability of grading trainees on their performance. Hundreds of trainees can be trained in a single day without recharging any extinguishers.
